George North fit to face Wallabies

George North has been passed fit to face the on Saturday.
The winger sustained a hamstring injury last week against the Combined Country and missed out on the last two games against the Waratahs and the Brumbies.
Following the loss to the Super Rugby leaders yesterday, this is a major boost for the who already have Tommy Bowe on the sidelines with a hand injury.
Bowe had a surgery while centre Jamie Roberts is also likely to sit out the clash in Brisbane after picking up a hamstring injury against the Waratahs.
The are also sweating on the fitness of centre Manu Tuilagi who suffered a shoulder injury against the Reds.
Lions back coach Rob Howley said: “George came through a fitness test this morning and I’ve never seen him in better shape. He’ll be available and that’s a big boost for us.
“We’ve looked after him over the last week to 10 days and it’s a huge boost to have someone like him available. Over the last 12 months I haven’t seen him in better physical shape and that’s why we took the decision to get him 100% physically well. I’m sure he’s looking forward to playing at the weekend – if selected.
“Jamie is progressing. He ran today and is unlikely to be fit for the weekend, as is Tommy Bowe.
“Tommy is more likely to be available for the second Test. Manu is improving every day and the strength is coming back into his shoulder and he will be touch and go.”
