Martin Castrogiovanni joins Toulon

After months of speculations, the Martin Castrogiovanni saga has ended as the Italian prop joined today.
The Paper revealed Toulon’s intentions to sign the Leicester tighthead back in December but the negotiations took months with the seeking compensation for Castrogiovanni’s last year of contract.
The 91-time capped prop reacted to the announcement on his Twitter account saying: “It’s been a long time coming but I’m honoured to join the best team in Europe.”
“Castro” as he is known at Welford Road will join up with Bryan Habana, Drew Mitchell and Michael Claassens who are all on their way to the Cote d’Azur.
