Cooper left out of Wallabies squad

Quade Cooper will not face the British & Irish as he was left out of Robbie Deans’ squad.
Deans named the additional six players in his 31-man squad ahead of the three-game starting on June 22 and there was no room for the Reds fly-half.
Cooper showed his class with ball in hand on Saturday leading the Reds to a sturdy performance against the Lions but his risk-taking style backfired at times putting the Reds under huge pressure at time and it seems Deans is not ready to take the risk for ‘s biggest Test-series in 12 years.
Instead, the Kiwi named Kurtley Beale, Digby Ioane, Pat McCabe, Peter Kimlin, Hugh McMeniman and Scott Sio.
It was also confirmed that lock James Horwill will lead the Green and Gold into the series.
The Wallabies were dealt a huge blow with the loss of in-form Scott Higginbotham leaving the uncapped captain Ben Mowen and McMeniman battling for the No.6 jersey.
