Josh Matavesi has finished his Premiership season after the Worcester‘s centre picked up a four-week ban for a dangerous tackle on Saracens Neil de Kock.
Matavesi pleaded guilty to the offence at a RFU hearing last night and will miss the last two games of the season against Harlequins and London Welsh.
The suspension runs from April 16 to May 6 and from May 31 to June 6, and he is free to play again on June 7. The second period covers Fiji‘s matches against Japan and Canada in the Pacific Nations Cup.
