Bath duo Dave Attwood and David Wilson have extended their contracts with the Club.
Lock Atwood has become an important member of the West Country side front five since his move from rivals Gloucester in 2011 while England tighthead Wilson featured in every game of this year’s RBS 6 Nations.
Speaking of his extension, Attwood said: “I am very happy to have extended my contract with the Club. The opportunity to be coached by this team in this environment means that I don’t want to be anywhere else. We are on a journey, and we all believe that we will get to the top in time. I’m extremely excited to be a part of it.”
Wilson added: “Bath has become home for me now and I love the Club. Everything a professional needs to excel is here – from coaching to facilities – and I feel very excited to be at a club that has so much support and ambition. I wouldn’t be anywhere else.”
Head Coach Gary Gold said: “These boys are the players around whom you can build a squad. They are young, English, talented and extremely tough. That they were both so keen to be involved in what we are working towards here at Bath is a real endorsement of the culture we are looking to create. We are very pleased to have retained their services.”
