Ulster’s Craig Gilroy will make his Test debut for Ireland against Argentina in Dublin on Saturday.
The winger’s inclusion comes on the back of a hat-trick display in the uncapped fixture against Fiji last week, won 53-0 by Ireland.
Gilroy comes in for his Ulster teammate Andrew Trimble on the left wing in the only change from the side that lost to South Africa two weeks ago.
This is turning out to be a crucial Test as the winner will secure a place in the IRB rankings’ top 8 while the loser will slip down to the third tier risking a draw against two major nations when the 2015 World Cup draw takes place on December 3.
Meanwhile, Argentina have revamped their side including three changes in the backs following their defeat to France last week.
Exeter‘s Gonzalo Camacho comes in on the wing for Bath‘s Horacio Agulla, who suffered a concussion against France, with Juan Martin Hernandez returning at full-back in place of Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino.
Montpellier Santiago Fernandez also returns to take his customary place at inside centre with Marcelo Bosch moving to 13 and Gonzalo Tiesi stepping down to the bench.
In the pack, Maximiliano Bustos make his debut at prop in place of Juan Figallo, who has been released back to his club Montpellier but would have missed the match anyway after being suspended for three weeks for head-butting.
