Struggling Sharks sack forwards coach

Sale Sharks Forwards Coach Steve Scott has been sacked today and has left his role with the club with immediate effect.
The news comes following the Sharks’ 29-19 defeat to London Welsh on Friday, their fourth in as many games.
Sale now lie bottom of the Premiership table with a single losing-bonus point to their name.
Steve, who joined the club in December 2010, will be replaced by Chief Executive Steve Diamond as forwards coach until the club find a suitable replacement.
Diamond said, “ Our results have been poor so far and we decided that we needed to change the coaching structure within the club.
“I would like to place on record my thanks to Steve Scott who has worked hard in his role and always given 100%. I wish him all the best in the future.
“We have started the process of finding a replacement to coach the forwards and whilst that process takes place I will be assisting Bryan Redpath prepare the players for the foreseeable future.”
