Duncan Weir has been preferred to Ruaridh Jackson at fly-half, while experienced Scottish internationals Chris Cusiter and John Barclay are consigned to the bench.
Exciting young full-back Stuart Hogg, Rory Lamont, prop Jon Welsh and new signings Viliami Ma’afu and Tim Swinson are unavailable for selection due to injury.
It will be Gregor Townsend‘s first competitive game in charge of the Warriors since replacing Sean Lineen as head coach in the summer.
