England Sevens will make their first appearance of the new season at the National Pub Sevens in Harpenden RFC on Sunday as a warm-up for the HSBC Sevens World Series.
Established players like prolific try-scorer Dan Norton, England‘s most-capped forward James Rodwell and captain Rob Vickerman will be involved, as well as several new signings.
England – who won the 2010 tournament – are set to battle for the trophy with last year’s winners the White Hart Marauders and the British Army who hasn’t lost a single game during the summer and just won the International Defence Sevens in Denver last weekend.
The HSBC Sevens World Series starts in six weeks on the Australian Gold Coast.
