Bath sign monster loosehead

have confirmed the signing of 20-year-old loosehead Sam Nixon from on a deal until the end of the 2018/19 season.
Standing at 6ft 5in and weighing 120kg the young prospect can already boast a sizable frame.
Nixon has for Bath United in the A-League several times this season and has been named on the bench for Bath’s Anglo-Welsh game against this weekend.
Having come through the Academy, Nixon joined Plymouth Albion for the 2016/17 season and has gained valuable game time in National 1.
Bath Director of Todd Blackadder said: “We’re delighted to have Sam on board. He will quickly become an asset to the squad and add that depth in the front row.”
