England will soon find out if they have been dealt more injury woes ahead of the Six Nations with the news that James Haskell and Jack Clifford did not travel to Portugal yesterday.
The back row pair stayed in the England to nurse injuries sustained playing for Wasps and Harlequins in the European Cup last weekend.
The pair missed England’s autumn internationals through injury and were both named in Eddie Jones‘ 34-man Six Nations squad on Friday.
They will now undergo further medical assessments after which a decision will be made on whether they will be fit to be involved in England’s opening match against France on February 4.
