Saracens continued their unbeaten start to the Premiership season with a convincing 38-3 bonus-point win at Newcastle yesterday.
Charlie Hodgson converted Samuela Vunisa’s try and added two penalties to give Sarries, who are the only unbeaten side left in Europe, a 13-3 lead at half-time, with Tom Catterick replying for the Falcons.
The ever-green Hodgson added two penalties after the break either side of Nick Tompkins’ score from close range.
Hodgson concluded his masterclass with a breakaway try late on before Billy Vunipola sealed a bonus point with a try in added time.
