Israel Folau is facing a race against the clock to be fit to take on Wales on Saturday.
The Australia full-back suffered an ankle injury against England last Saturday and assistant coach Stephen Larkham revealed he has not trained on Monday and neither did wing Rob Horne who suffered an early shoulder injury in the 33-13 win that ended England’s World Cup hopes.
“Rob still on the injured list but we’re still hoping he can be turned around in a week or so,” said Larkham.
“Rob’s most likely not going to play and the other injury concern we’ve got is Issy [Folau], he came off the field with a sore ankle and didn’t train yesterday [Monday] so we’ll see how he pulls up.
“They’re pretty significant so we’re focusing internally rather than the problems the other team has.”
