Mike Delany to join Newcastle Falcons

As revealed in The Paper by Neil Fissler on Sunday, have signed Mike Delany ahead of next season.
The Kiwi playmaker, who played for the once back in 2009, will arrive from on a three-year contract.
He said: “I’m excited to be given the opportunity to play for Newcastle Falcons in such a competitive competition as the .”

Director of rugby Dean Richards added: “We’re really pleased to have recruited a quality player like Mike. We have had a very good look at him and his style of play and ability to control a game will fit very well with what we are doing as a club.”
“He is pretty low mileage and in good shape and brings some valuable experience from the French , and of course being involved with the All Black set up on the 2009 tour.”
