England Women put their opening defeat to Wales behind them with a 39-7 victory over Italy at the Twickenham Stoop.
The World Champions scored six tries in total to put their campaign back on tracks before facing the undefeated Irish in two weeks.
Italy were first on the board with Flavia Severin barging over from close range but tries from Alex Matthews and Abbie Scott hit back for England to give them a 15-7 lead at the break.
Italy lost Beatrice Rigonni to the sin-bin early in the second half and England made them pay with Ceri Large scoring from close range.
They then rounded off proceedings with three more tries from Katy Mclean, Hannah Gallagher and Kay Wilson.
