Sale captain Dan Braid will miss the remainder of the season after having a minor knee surgery.
The Kiwi will sit out their final two Premiership matches against Leicester Tigers and London Irish.
“His leadership is second to none. He’s been fantastic for the club. He puts his body on the line time and time again,” said director of rugby Steve Diamond.
