Gloucester sign fifth player

Gloucester RFC

have announced their fifth signing of the week with former lock Tom Palmer joining them from at the end of the season.
The 35-year-old follows in the footsteps of Leeds full-back Steve McColl, Bedford Blues centre Mark Atkinson, Scarlets fly-half Aled Thomas and Ospreys centre Tom Isaacs who all put pen to paper in recent days while All Black prop John Afoa, lock Mariano Galarza, hooker Richard Hibbard and half-back Greig Laidlaw will also link up at Kingsholm next season.
“Tom has a proven track record,” said director of Nigel Davies. “I think he’ll be a great addition to the squad we are putting together. He is still so ambitious and wants to continue to be successful. He thinks coming into the squad at Gloucester will allow him to do that.”
