Adam Thompstone, Dan Robson and Kieran Brookes have been called up by the England Saxons to prepare their clash against Scotland A in Glasgow on Friday.
The Leicester wing and Newcastle prop have joined the squad training at Loughborough University while Northampton prop Tom Mercey, Exeter centre Sam Hill and Harlequins centre Matt Hopper are ruled out with injuries.
Gloucester scrum-half Robson takes over from Exeter’s Dave Lewis with Anthony Watson has rejoined the England senior squad ahead of the opening round of the Six Nations.
Bath wing Semesa Rokoduguni, who was ruled out of last weekend’s 14-8 defeat against the Ireland Wolfhounds with knee soreness, has returned to training ahead of Friday night’s game at Scotstoun.
A further addition to the backs available to Head Coach Jon Callard will be made in due course.
