Elliot Stooke, Matt Hopper, Rob Miller and Tom Mercey have been added to the England Saxons squad preparing to face the O2 Ireland Wolfhounds at Kingsholm on Saturday.
Gloucester lock Stooke, 20, replaces the injured Graham Kitchener to join fellow Junior World Championship winners Henry Slade and Sam Hill in the 23-man group for the game being played on his home ground.
Harlequins centre Hopper takes over from Jonathan Joseph while Sale full-back Rob Miller arrives as a replacement for Matthew Tait.
Finally, Northampton’s Tom Mercey will get a chance at prop with Harlequins’ Will Collier out of action.
No replacements have been called up in place of Tigers duo Miles Benjamin and Jamie Gibson, who will be reassessed at the end of the week with a view to being available for the match against Scotland A in Glasgow on January 31.
