Bristol sign Dwayne Peel and Anthony Perenise

Bristol have made two major coups in their quest for from the with the arrival of -half Dwayne Peel and prop Anthony Perenise.
Neil Fissler revealed the Welshman was on his way to the Memorial Stadium in The Paper on Sunday.
The 2005 British & Irish Lion, who also earned 76 caps for , joins on a two-year deal while 31-year-old Samoan international Perenise, who joined Bath in 2011, signed a three-year deal.
The move could pave the way for the arrival of tighthead Henry Thomas who is believed to be on his way to The Rec.
Director of Rugby Andy Robinson said: “Dwayne’s decision to join us is a major coup for the club and a real indication of the direction we want to go and what we are trying to achieve.
“He has a wealth of experience with over ten years at the top of the professional game – that’s a testament to Dwayne’s attitude and work ethic.
“Standing at 6ft and weighing in at 18 stone, Anthony is a formidable individual. He’s a powerful scrummager with a great technical ability. Aside from his obvious power, Anthony is quick and mobile – an attribute that we’ve seen him display regularly at Bath.
“He’ll be a real asset to our pack next season and I’m delighted we’ve secured his services at Rugby.”
Peel said: “I’m delighted to be joining Bristol and taking on this new challenge in my career,” he added.
“There’s a real desire to achieve things – Bristol is a Club with lofty ambitions and a clear vision of where they want to go – that appealed to me.
“Having played against the Club many times, I know all about the large fanbase and the passion for the sport in the city; I’m excited about the move.”
Perenise said: “It’s been a tough decision to make, but I feel that signing for Bristol is the right move for me and my family. I’ve really enjoyed my time at Bath, having made some great friends, and I’d like to thank them and all the Bath supporters who have made my time here so good.
“Now the decision has been made, my focus is 100% on working hard and helping this squad achieve our aims for the rest of the season.”
