   What’s astonishing is if you watch the footage back, Flood’s concussion came from a collision with Dan Cole’s knee (his own player) and not from Lawes’ only ever so slightly (so he was committed) late tackle. So it’s even worse that he can stand there and argue against it rudely to the officials.

   Beans. You’re forgetting that the ref gave a penalty (rightly or wrongly is a moot point) for the Lawes tackle. If a serious injury occurs from an illegal tackle a DOR is well within his rights to question an official. Cockers only lost it when it became clear no action was even being considered in addition to the penalty, not even a look at the video replay. The ref should’ve gone directly to the video and cleared the matter up there and then.
