As rumoured for a number of weeks now, Worcester Warriors fly-half Joe Carlisle will be wearing the London Wasps jersey next season.
Rated as one of the brightest young playmaker n the Premiership, the 25-year-old will replace Nick Robinson in the squad who joined Championship side Bristol yesterday.
London Wasps Director of Rugby Dai Young said: “I have been impressed with Joe over the last few seasons and he’s a young English player I believe with a lot of potential.
“He has an excellent kicking game and he attacks the line very well and has the ability to really get a backline moving. He’s comfortable in the centre and at fullback as well as at ten and his aim moving here is really to reignite his career and I believe we can help him to do that.
“He’ll be playing here with lots of other young English talent and I think he’ll enjoy his time at the Club.”
