1. Poorly kept golf greens
I’m a keen golfer who’s pretty decent from tee to green but after that things can start to unravel. I’m known for my three-putting at the best of times and when the greens are bumpy it just makes things even worse. I hate it when they’ve just spiked the greens, that makes it impossible for the ball to get a decent roll.
TRP verdict: All that time on the golf course… it’s enough to make you green with envy. That said, we’re happy to putt this through.
2. Impatient travellers
Is it too much to ask to let someone have a few extra seconds to disembark from a train before attempting to get on yourself? I know seats are sometimes at a premium, and you shouldn’t have to stand if you’ve paid out lots of money on a ticket but, let’s face facts, it’s still better to have some manners. It’s the same with aeroplanes. Why do people clamber to get off as soon as the plane comes to a halt and the seat belt light goes out. If everyone got their bags in an orderly manner the whole process would be smoother and a lot less stressful.
TRP verdict: We’re glad to be able to give you a platform to moan. The next stop is Room 101.
3. Wind
As a goal-kicker and a golfer, wind is the arch enemy. If it’s blowing a gale on matchday it plays havoc with what you’ve been practising in training during the week. Cross winds are particularly bad, especially when they come from the left. I’d take rain over wind all day long.
TRP verdict: Blow me down, another successful entry.
