1. Insomnia
Insomnia is not something I tend to suffer from but, now and again, particularly when I know I have to get up early for training, I find it impossible to drop off and get a good night’s sleep. I think it is because you worry about sleeping in and your brain refuses to switch off properly. It is so frustrating when you are lying there, looking at the alarm clock and counting down the hours before you have to get up. Luckily a lack of sleep doesn’t affect me too badly the next day because I’m pretty hyper-active anyway.
TRP verdict: After tossing and turning for hours on this one, we woke up to the fact you’re onto something here.
2. Phone Battery Life
I miss my old Nokia 3210 which you could use all day before the battery needed recharging. I’ve got an I-Phone now and the battery can go from 80% to zero in the blink of an eye. It’s a pain because you always have to plan ahead and make sure you have access to a power point. Like most people I use my phone a fair deal – for things like games, music, checking emails etc – and it’s annoying not being able to use it just because the battery has run down.
TRP verdict: Good call!
3. Bad Manners
It winds me up when people don’t say ‘please’ or ‘thank you’. These are the little pleasantries in life that should be par for the course. As my Mum always used to say, manners don’t cost a thing. On the roads, how much effort does it take to acknowledge a fellow car driver who has let you in? A simple wave of the hand is all it takes.
TRP verdict: We’ll Buster Blood-vessel to get you in Room 101.
