Leicester went top of the Premiership table following their narrow 19-14 victory over Worcester at Sixways tonight.
David Lemi with a try and Andy Goode with three penalties gave the Warriors a 14-0 lead after 20 minutes but a try on the last play of the half from Scott Hamilton brought Leicester back to 14-5 at the break.
The visitors were awarded a penalty try to cut down the deficit to two points 15 minutes into the second half before referee JP Doyle went under the posts again on the last minute of the game to hand the Tigers the win.

watched the game on ESPN tonight. As a Tigers supporter I have to accept that we were second best for much of this game. Once again the best scrum in the Northern hemisphere got us home. Worcester played brilliantly in the first half and I couldn’t see how we could get into the game. Some superb handling at the end of the first half opened the door slightly and the tremendous handling assault at the end got us home; but we were lucky!
