Harlequins director of rugby Conor O’Shea is looking forward to the challenge Leicester will set but pleads his player to be ready put their body on the line.
The reigning champions travel to Welford Road on the back of three bonus-point win sitting on the top of the table but aware of what lies ahead.
He said: “You know what you’re going to get when you travel to Welford Road. The guys have to be ready to put their body on the line and match Leicester’s physicality. If you’re not ready for it when you travel there, you’re in for a long day at the office.
“When you talk about it, rugby sounds like a very straight forward game. We will have to try to slow them down and put them on the back foot while I’m sure they will be doing the same.
“They score a lot of tries and have great attacking ambitions but so do we. The winning team will be the one reacting best and giving the less turnovers to the other.
“Rugby is about testing yourself against the best and it will be a great test for everyone tomorrow.”
Despite being unbeaten, O’Shea is adamant it is far from a perfect start but also points out that, regarding the attacking rugby they play, they are prone to make mistakes.
He added: “We’re not arrogant enough to think it was a perfect start. We played with accuracy at times but we have also been lucky at some key points of the games.
“You’re never going to play with ambition and not make mistakes. The game will be open as both team will try to play and therefore concede turnovers.
“Nothing will be won or lost after this weekend but it will be a cracking game. It’ll be a full house at Welford Road and all the guys are buzzing for it.”
