Dream Team: Billy Robinson – Nottingham full-back

billy-robinson1. Campese Ma’afu – The Fijian had a great 2015 . Top scrummager, good ball skills, and puts in some big shots in defence!
2. Shaun Malton – His career at hasn’t taken off as freely as the hairs from his head, but he dominated the two years ago with his exceptional attacking game.
3. Conor Carey – He would never forgive me if I didn’t pick him! I’m not a scrummaging expert but he assures me he’s “one of the best in the business”. Hoping his move to will be a successful one.
4. Dan Montagu – A really good old-fashioned forward. He’s big, strong, physical and very hard but he’s a really good ball player, too.
5. Tom Croft – Ian Evans and Johan Ackerman have to make way. Albeit in the second row, the Croft surely needs no introduction.
6. Brent Wilson – A wealth of experience with , Brent was also a very successful player and captain at Nottingham.
7. Olly Robinson – The destructive Darren Fox deserves a mention but Olly Robinson gets the nod because of his all-round game and, more particularly, his attacking flair.
8. Paul Grant – Phenomenal athlete with great skills. With his talent and work ethic, I hope to see him playing Super next year.
9. Ben Spencer – His true potential is yet to be revealed. His skill set is as good as anyone’s and he’s a very crafty operator.
10. I played against a young and very lightweight Ford when he was on loan at Leeds. He oozed class and creativity.
11. Sinoti Sinoti – Very quick, extremely powerful and his footwork is just exceptional. A nightmare to defend against.
12. I played with him when he was 18, and despite his age, he was still the most vocal, abrasive, confident and competitive player on the pitch. No surprise that he’s become the player he is now.
13. Greg King – Gavin Henson would be an obvious choice but instead I’ve gone for Greg King. A very good defender, runs great lines, has excellent feet, superb ball skills. All the attributes that make a great centre. Apart from pace – he has none of that!
14. Pila Iongi – For consistency, I would have picked All Black and Saints legend Bruce Reihana but for sheer excitement I’ve gone for Pila. A brilliant runner with terrific footwork and scintillating acceleration.
15. Dan Mugford – The quality of his running, passing and kicking game make him a triple threat. ‘The Turbo Pig’ has a great opportunity at . Hugely talented player, who will get so much better if he actually starts training!
