Dream Team: Olly Kohn – former Harlequins lock

Olly Kohn1. Has really developed his scrummaging over the years and to have a haircut like that you need to back it up by being an incredible player. But terrible personal hygiene.
2. Schalk Brits – He is unbelievably agile for a hooker, runs like a back and is extraordinary hard to tackle in open space.
3. Adam Jones – An aggressive scrummaging tighthead who is the cornerstone for all the teams he has played for.
4. Joe Tekori – I've played Castres a few times and he's always stood out. He is absolutely massive and a terrific ball carrier. At Quins we played Samoa in a pre-season friendly, it was a baptism of fire.
5. Paul O'Connell – When you're playing , he always stands out. He has that all-round game and is an incredible leader and everyone has got a huge amount of respect for him on and off the pitch.
6. Andre Vos – An awesome leader of men, both with words and by example. He got stuck in and was always the first guy to put himself forward for any difficult tasks that people didn't necessarily want to do.
7. Will Skinner – Tough to pick between him and Joe El Abd but I'll never forget playing when Will went up for a ball and landed flat on his back. They had to pull his tongue out and I thought if he died I'd stop playing there and then.
8. Chris Hala'ufia – I'd always call him the human assassin. An enforcer on the pitch and man of few words. But whatever he did say you'd listen to.
9. Devastating around the edges with his lightning speed, he's always a threat and opens up space for other people. A ridiculous barnet though!
10. Andrew Mehrtens – One of the great All Blacks. When I came to I massively looked up to him. He maybe wasn't at his best but he could still turn it on.
11. The Welsh Jonah Lomu. Such an unbelievable athlete and a powerhouse. He showed with the that he's got the whole world at his feet.
12. Rob Higgitt – An unsung hero at Bristol who put his body on the line in what was a strong defence we had there. He was the ultimate professional in a time when not everyone else was.
13. When he is on the front foot and going forward he is a nightmare to put down. He's immensely powerful and another one for whom the sky is the limit.
14. Sailosi Tagicakibau – One of the best wingers in the for a long time. Being so big he would always bounce off the first man when we played him.
15. Geordan Murphy – Consistent performer over a long period of time – over 300 caps for Leicester – and is a hero in my eyes. But it wasn't just his longevity, he was one of the most gifted talents in the game.
