1. Bill Cavubati – Big Bill was absolutely enormous, weighing in at 160kg (25st 3lb). But he was one of the pure legends of the game. He would be huffing and puffing at the back but he would cover the play. He was also a very funny man.
2. Raphael Ibanez – He is a French legend and a pocket rocket. I’m making him my captain because I know he would hate it. Even though he was the France captain, he was a very humble, lovely man who did not like the limelight.
3. Joe Veitayaki – He was another huge 160kg Fijian who could be found trudging at the back with Big Bill. He was also the most beautiful looking man around!
4. Simon Raiwalui – Simon had one of the biggest heads in world rugby but he was a Fijian legend. He’s now manager at Racing Metro. He was the world’s second grumpiest man, if you said anything he didn’t like, he would be ready to beat you up!
5. Willem Stoltz – The South African is the world’s grumpiest man. I played with him for Italian side Petrarca Padova. Very quick witted and I love him to bits.
6. Chresten Davis – I played with him in New Zealand. He had some of the best skills around. He would be the designated driver as he’s completely tee-total.
7. Richard Hill – An absolute English warrior, Everyone thinks he is a really quiet guy but we all know who he is really. He can’t wait for a beer in that respect and joins quite a few in my team.
8. Taine Randell – He was the quickest to down a pint, jug or whatever was on offer. Very strong on the pitch and very funny off it.
9. Bryan Redpath – Bryan, or Basil Brush as he was known, was very cheeky and a great drinker. You would hand him a few beers and let him go.
10. Waisale Serevi – Waisale was a Sevens legend. He was pure class, just untouchable. He was my idol. He also seems to be able to speak every language on the planet.
11. Jonah Lomu – I actually played against him at school. He was simply too good, I couldn’t get anywhere near him. You just knew he should be wherever the ball was.
12. Walter Little – Walter is my uncle but he was also an All Blacks legend with 50 caps. He was also pretty handy on the guitar and we used to play together.
13. Pieter Muller – I played against him when he was playing for South Africa. He was another big man and was just about as funny as they come.
14. Napolioni Nalaga – A Fijian beast of a winger who plays for Clermont Auvergne now. He was a quiet guy until you filled him with beer.
15. Thomas Castaignede – He was the little French rat. The cheeky dyed-blond Frenchman who can do anything, or nothing, from anywhere. A little legend in world rugby.
