THE SAINTS PROP TAKES US THROUGH HIS PET HATES FROM THE WORLD AND BEYOND

1. Coriander

I hate the stuff and if I never saw it again in my life, I’d be happy. I know it’s a bit of a ‘marmite’ food and I think I read somewhere once that it could be genetically related whether you hate it or love it. I don’t mind coriander seeds ground into a spice mix, it’s when they put the leaves on top of a curry or in salads.

TRP VERDICT: Cor blimey, you’ve made such a compelling argument we just have to put it in even though we love the stuff.

2. Exaggerated injuries

Rugby-wise, I think we need to keep an eye on players milking penalties or cards by exaggerating their injuries. This footballeresque type of behaviour crept in once or twice last season with players staying down on the ground a little bit longer than they should, and it needs to be cut out.

TRP VERDICT: After taking a ‘deep-dive’ into this subject, we have decided it’s another yes from us.

3. Open-mouthed eaters

My 11-month-old and three-year-old are obvi- ously absolved from this but any adult who eats with their mouth open and makes all sorts of slopping and slurping noises should be immedi- ately removed from the kitchen/dining room. That noise grates me like nothing else.

TRP VERDICT: Don’t be afraid to spit it out man! You’ve got a 100 percent record.
