Saracens seek to slash budget by moving on from Liam Williams

Williams, who helped Saracens complete a and European Cup double last season and win a Grand Slam, moved to London to be nearer his girlfriend.

Saracens were interested in signing Maika Sivo but he has since signed a contract extension with Parramatta Eels until 2021.

But losing Williams and Joel Kpoku, who is interesting Saints, would help them to reduce the playing budget if it is demanded.
