Former Wasps and England winger Christian Wade, below, is set to stay in France next season by signing an extension that will keep him with Paris club Racing 92.
The former Lions tourist joined Racing last summer after spending three years bidding to break into the NFL with the Buffalo Bills.
Wade, who will be 32 next month, has scored seven tries in eight games for Racing and is ready to stay in the French capital after talks with the club.
Racing are using the rule that allows teams in the Top 14 special dispensation to sign players as cover for squad members away on World Cup duty.
