Scotland captain Laidlaw out of Six Nations

have been dealt a huge blow to their hopes with the news that captain Greig Laidlaw will miss the remainder of the tournament with an ankle injury.
Laidlaw was released back to for further assessment and a scan revealed that the -half suffered ligament damage to his ankle.
The injury was sustained in the first-half of Scotland’s 22-16 defeat to in on Sunday.
The 58-capped Scot will now see a specialist later this week to determine how to manage the injury and estimate a return date.
As Scotland’s main kicker, the 31-year old has amassed 582 points for his country since his debut in 2010.
Laidlaw agreed a three-year deal to join giants Auvergne at the end of the season and Gloucester will do all they can to get him fit before the end of the season.
