Wasps will be playing at Coventry‘s Ricoh Arena by December it was announced today while Coventry-based Land Rover has been confirmed as the club’s main new partner.
Yesterday, Coventry City Council unanimously approved the sale of their shares of the Ricoh Arena stadium to the club paving the way for the move reported in The Rugby Paper on August 31.
Wasps will play their first home game at the Ricoh Arena against either Castres in the Champions Cup on December 13 or London Irish in the Premierhsip on December 21.
Until then will continue to play home games at Adams Park in High Wycombe where they have been playing for the past 12 years.
The club is also looking to build a brand-new training base in the city.
