Blockbuster: France took on Wales in Friday night’s Six Nations kick-off

THE Six Nations simply must be on terrestrial television for the survival of the sport in this country.
Peter Jackson’s report that the BBC may lose live coverage of the championship sounds alarm bells. I hope ITV see enough merit in entering the bidding but I’m not sure they can match the online money and I fear it will become hidden behind pay-perview with thousands of fans unable to see the action.
