We are all paying for the financial errors of the RFU

Who, other than for self-aggrandisement, is going to invest in rugby? The Premiership has never ever returned a profit. Several leading clubs are currently in dire straits.
Whilst at the same time the RFU is proposing to parachute the former top clubs with appalling financial records back into the ‘broken’ Championship.
Those clubs have to demonstrate financial prudence by working their way back up. Other clubs have done it. There is no reason for this inequity in treatment.
It’s not the Championship that is broke. It’s the Premiership. All other clubs are paying for the financial mismanagem...
