Please don’t make the game irrelevant

FULL-BACKS and wingers now have to be able to leap in the air, I’ve long ago forgotten what hookers are for and forwards run into each other ignoring the damage they do to their opponents and themselves.
Referees seem to have a “pick and miss” policy that leaves the spectator confused as to what is going on and if you are new to the game it must be a total mystery.
It seems to me that Rugby Union is doing its best to make itself sportingly irrelevant. And to think all Webb Ellis wanted to do was run with the ball.
