Dual registration needs to be put under microscope

It is interesting to read in last Sunday’s TRP Luc Jones’s thoughts on the adverse impact of wholesale dual registrations of Premiership clubs’ junior players with Championship clubs.
In his view this has distorted competition within the league to its serious detriment – to the extent that he feels that its former position as the most competitive league in the country has been usurped by National League One.
This is a view which, given the extensive recent experience of his club, Richmond in both leagues cannot be ignored.
