HAVING spent large sums of money over the years, attending live rugby and subscribing to Sky Sports and TNT to watch televised games I was furious to learn that in order to watch my team Exeter play in South Africa, in a European Cup game, I now have to subscribe to yet another channel, Premier Sports… unless of course I fly to Durban! I don’t think so. They constantly harp on about ‘growing the game’ but this is driving loyal fans away from the game – people will only be exploited for so long.
