I fear that young players will be lost to the game if chances missed

I REFER to Geoff Stalker’s letter of October 27 regarding schools rugby. Some points perhaps need to be amplified so that RFU leadership hear or better still listen ... and perhaps react!
Most schools are past the halfway point of providing rugby. After Christmas there will be far less school’s rugby except for those that play sevens.
The National Schools 7s, Rosslyn Park will be packed with acres and acres of school’s rugby and everything will look magnificent and rugby will look extraordinarily healthy for the future.
