IN his column in a recent edition of The Rugby Paper, Peter Jackson states that the RFU are set to earn a whopping £16 million in profits from this season’s four autumn internationals at Twickenham.
In light of this, it makes the fact that they expect Championship rugby teams such as my team Coventry to survive on just a comparative shoestring of £83,000 a season once the costs of insurance have been taken into account all the more incensing. It makes my blood boil.
