IT appears to me that the authorities at the RFU have lost their moral and ethical compass in inviting these three clubs to join the Championship.
However, maybe we are not addressing the ‘elephant in the room’ which is the ‘P’ shares. Having agreed to the continuation of the PRL stranglehold on money in English rugby, the RFU have accepted the right of the P shareholders to be at the top of the game.
If the RFU exists for the benefit of the national team and the thousands of RFU affiliated clubs and members, it cannot morally or ethically justify the rest...
