I’VE been thoroughly impressed by England during this WXV tournament. Having dominated Europe for so long they have again proved to be the best in the world.
Not so long ago I would find it hard to name many players other than Emily Scarratt. Indeed, when Scarratt was badly injured I feared how they would cope. While Scarratt remains a star, there are now so many others that are world class – Ellie Kildunne especially is a sensational player.
