THE article about Macclesfield last week mentioned the excessive travel time in National League West. There is a problem because this ‘Region’ is from Camborne and Redruth in Cornwall to Macclesfield in Cheshire and Hinckley in the East Midlands which creates lengthy trips both ways.
Hinckley to Camborne is over five hours non-stop .
A solution could be to have four regional leagues – North, Midlands/Central, West and South/ South East.
