No-one is forced to play the game

BEING an ex-rugby player from the age of 12 to 40, I am in complete agreement with Brendan Gallagher in his recent article (Sept 29). Every single player knows the risk they take when they run out on to the pitch to play a physical contact sport.
They know they could get injured and/or concussed. I also appreciate and understand that former players sometimes have life changing circumstances after these injuries, and do not want to belittle them. However, it is wrong to lump all of these complaints together so that you can blame somebody or individual/ group. He was absolutely right to...
