Unfortunately, some of the analysis seems to be based on greatly simplified assumptions and generalisations about the present situation of rugby provision for the young.
School Structure
The neat schools’ structure described, feeding into a network of sixth form colleges, is far from ubiquitous, meaning that the calculation of players being lost to the school game is seriously distorted.
