SPEAKING as a Coventry fan, being drawn along with fellow Championship side Nottingham RFC against Leicester Tigers and Northampton Saints in the pool stages of the Premiership Cup is certainly exciting with some tasty looking fixtures in prospect, but the unjust exclusion of newly promoted Chinnor RFC and last season’s bottom side Cambridge RFC from this season’s competition by the RFU leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
