STEVE is doing a great job in charge of the national side as are his players and our recent U20 world champions.

Nobody is more pleased than me to see making real progress.

However, the coaches are still doing their jobs with one hand tied behind their backs.

And the is to blame.

Paul Gustard recently made the case for abandoning the overseas player qualification rule and Nick Cain the need to limit overseas numbers playing in England.

recently recalled the success of the for giving talented players a clear pathway. Plus it gives a chance for spectators who don't live near to see future prospects.

Our coaches need all the help they can get – the RFU and clubs are not offering that help.
