Mercer deserves

What more does Zach Mercer have to do to get a chance with England? Sadly, I wasn’t surprised to see his name omitted from last week’s training squad but he has been excellent in a poor Gloucester team and I think he would do a great job at either blindside or No.8.
What harm in Steve Borthwick making it a 20-man training squad rather than 19? He should have brought Mercer in to have a look at because ignoring him seems like a personal grudge rather than a rugby decision.
