A couple of letters in last week’s paper along with Nick Cain’s column got me thinking on these subjects of ring-fencing and a possible Anglo-Welsh league.
Mr Norman Joughin did raise some good points along the lines of a top 10 is right for England, however with money not in abundance within rugby, I’d disagree with his take on Welsh teams joining the English clubs.
Two top leagues of 10 would be my preferred option. If ever there was time for a compromise between the Championship clubs and the Premiership then surely this is it. Give the clubs a more realistic target of a 6,000 capacity st...
